looking for sock yarn deals

I recently got a free $25 WebCertificate and I want to splurge on sock yarn. Which online shops have the biggest bang for the buck? (Lowest prices for the volume & quality, best sales, cheapest/free shipping in the States, etc.) All I have locally is a Walmart that doesn't carry wool.

OTN: My 4th or 5th attempt at making Chutes & Ladders socks for my oldest son. Started & frogged three times, finished a pair I was sure would fit but it turned out too small. (Those went to his little brother.)

My favorite shop is simplysockyarn.com Their prices are the same as most other shops but they don't carry everything yet. If you want Lorna's Laces then littleknits.com or twoswansyarns.com has the best deals that I've found. Ebay of course has some great deals if you want to sort through it all.
